Dennis E. Moran, 53, of Keansburg, passed away on Thursday March 3rd, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was born in New York and moved to Keansburg in 1968. Dennis worked for Preston Trucking, later known as Yellow Freight and was a member of Local 1730 ILA. He also was a member of the Middletown Elks #2179. He enjoyed fishing, boating and was an avid reader. He was an amazing, loving brother and beloved son. Dennis was pre-deceased by his parents Marion Cosgrove Moran and Edward Joseph Moran. Surviving is his daughter; Courtney Moran of New York and his 3 sisters and brothers in-law; Patricia and Jack Tomlin of Keansburg, Rita and Thomas Bowe and Laura and William Hayes both of Howell, many nieces and nephews. He also is survived by his companion Jacky Bittle and her daughter Mackenzie Bittle of Keansburg. Family will be accepting friends on Sunday from 2-6PM at the Scott and Kedz Home for Funerals 153 Church St. Belford. At 5:30PM on Sunday there will be a religious service held at the funeral home.
