Olen Vincent Yates, 91, of Bethany Village Retirement Center, Mechanicsburg, died Monday, January 24, 1977, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

His wife is the former Esther Hart, a former teacher in the South Williamsport Area School District.

Mr. Yates was a former president and member of the board of directors of the Eaton-Dikerman Paper Company, Mount Holly Springs.

Mr. Yates was a member of the Allison United Methodist Church, Carlisle, and a former treasurer and choir member of the church.

He was a member of Cumberland Star Lodge 197, F&AM, Carlisle, and a former member of the Carlisle Rotary Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Olmstead, of Mount Holly Springs, and Mrs. Carroll Humphrey, of Wilmington, Delaware; a sister, Mrs. Lewis Liversidge, of St. Petersburg, Florida, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
