Jettie Johnson, 95, Concordia, died Saturday, August 18, 1990, at the Delphos Rest Home in Delphos.

She was born September 29, 1894, near Talmo, the daughter of Edward and Mary Wiley Jeardoe. She lived in Republic County during her early years and then was a resident of Concordia for many years before moving to the Delphos Rest Home in 1989.

She was married to Alex Johnson, who died April 5, 1953.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Talmo, VFW Auxiliary, and Navy Mothers.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Geneva Lagasse, and a son, Larry Johnson.

Survivors include two sons, Lewis Johnson of Denver, Gerald Johnson of Delphos; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held Tuesday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dick Moon officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery near Talmo.
