He was a connoisseur of fine foods, which led him to establish the Go Gourmet store in Cincinnati, Ohio, voted best new store in Cincinnati by the reader of the Citizen Journal. Besides being an entrepreneur, he was a published writer and an avid outdoorsman. Matthew is survived by his parents, Nancy and Matthew O'Brien Diggs, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Elizabeth Diehl of Rochester, New York, Joan Townsend of Brussels, Belgium, and Judith Keenan of Atlanta, Georgia; and six nieces and nephews.
