Mrs. Augusta Sirois of 1637 Hobart Avenue, Bronx, New York passed away on Wednesday at her home. Augusta was born in Germany 58 years ago(1872) and is the daughter of the late John August and Sophie Hasshagen Koehne and widow of Paul Sirois who died in 1926. She was a resident of Brooklyn for many years before moving to the Bronx two years ago.
Augusta is survived by two sons, Paul Sirois, Phillip Sirois; one daughter, Mrs. Lucy Kumps; three sisters, Mrs. Alvina Koehne Mahlstedt, Mrs. Mary Koehne Pichette, Mrs. Sophie Koehne Weingartner and one grandchild. Augusta was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Theresa Koehne Bleimeyer who died in 1926.
Services will be held at Saturday 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Ernest F. Bates and Sons, 1871 Greene Avenue with Rev. C.C. Jaeger officiating. Internment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
