By 1940 only Lila, 15, remained at home with her parents. They had moved on down the road to 2315 Locust Street. We learn in the census that David Carroll was employed by the Anaconda Copper Mining Company (ACM) as a pipeman.
A marriage license for Lila and her husband, Richard G. Amidon, was issued on December 14, 1946 in King County, Washington.
At the time of her death Mrs. Amidon was a retired Boeing employee. She was survived by a son and two daughters.
