Edith was born on November 6, 1912, in Fallon, Mont., the daughter of August and Helena (née Grutt) Albrecht. She received her early education in Fallon and went on to graduate from the School of Nursing in Miles City. In 1954, she moved to Kalispell and was employed as a nurse at the Flathead County Nursing Home from 1955 to 1977, when she retired. She was married to Richard B. Beardsley Sr. on June 6, 1936 in Columbus, Mont., he preceded her in death on May 2, 1969. She was survived by three sons; one daughter; three sisters; and eight grandchildren. Edith passed away on Saturday morning, April 24, 1982 at her home in Kalispell, Montana.
