Mrs Jennie Slyck
Dies in Syracuse
Mrs. Jennie M. Slyck, 76, wife of
Harvey Slyck, a resident of Syra
cuse for the past 16 years, died Sunday,
Jan. 17, ,1965 at St. Joseph's
Hospital; Syracuse, where she had
been a patient one day. She was
born in Mannsville June 15 1888,
a. daughter of NeWell and Martha
White Barker. She resided in
Mannsville before moving to Syracuse.
She .was a member-of First Ward
Methodist church of Syracuse.
Surviving besides husband
are one son, Laurie of Syracuse a
daughter, Mrs. Malcolm, (Marilyn)
Kenney,, Syracuse; four grandchil
dren. She also leaves two sisters,
Mrs. Cora Bencur of Pulaski arid,
Mrs. Dora Coonley of Syracuse and
a niece,-Mrs. Hazel Menckelly, Syr-
acuse,
The funeral was held Wednes-
day at 2pm at the Taylor Fu
neral home in Pulaski Rev. Wayne
Wager of Lyncourt Wes
leyan Methodist church of Syra
cuse, officiated. Interment will be
in Woodlawn cemetery) Sandy
Creek, in the spring.
