Jerry Wilkinson, 74, of Hearne, Texas, passed peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2013, in Bryan, Texas. He was born February 16, 1939, in Devol, Oklahoma, to Virgil and Edna Wilkinson. He was a 1957 Graduate of Big Pasture High School, Randlett, Oklahoma, . He served in the Army and the National Guard for 6 years. Then he became a Barber, moved to Carpentry and Welding, and in 1983 he started driving a truck for New Southwest Baking in Bryan, Texas, where he retired.
He was a member of Elliot Baptist Church.

He is survived by his spouse of 22 years, Sandra Mitchell; sons, Gregg Wilkinson and wife, Nancy, Michael Wilkinson and wife, Amanda, Scott Mitchell and wife, Kris, Shane Mitchell and wife, Brandi. Grand Children; Kristie, Jacob, Kayla, Meagan, Phillip, Allen, Joe, London, and Whitley; great-grandchild, Bristol; siblings, Glen Wilkinson, Gladys Davis, Sue Bowles, Kenneth Wilkinson, and Virgie Mullins. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Margie Harwell and Gene Wilkinson.

Texas: Visitation will be at Elliot Baptist Church, Elliot, Texas, Wednesday, August 7th, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and followed by a service at 11 a.m.

Oklahoma: Service will be held at Devol Baptist Church, Devol, Okla., Thursday, August 8, at 11 a.m., graveside will follow in the Randlett Cemetery.
