Daryl J. Foster, Sr., 85, formerly of Lewisburg, OH, died Monday, August 5, 2013 at Brookhaven Nursing & Rehabilitation in Brookville, Ohio. Born on October 6, 1927 in Bowling Green, Ohio he was the son of the late Joseph W. & Goldie E. (Bunger) Foster. Daryl was a W.W. II Navy Veteran. He worked at N.C.R. Corporation for 27 years and was the former Owner Operator of Foster's Home Improvement of Lewisburg. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church; American Legion of Lewisburg. Preceded in death by his 1st wife of 47 years: Juanita M. Foster in July 1997; great grandson: Joshua P. Owen in 2011; daughter-in-law: Angelia K. Foster in 2012.
Survivors: Wife: Bonnie (Lyle) Foster of Brookville, Oh; Sons & Daughters-In-Law: Daryl J. Jr. & Cynthia Foster of Eaton, OH and Todd D. & Nancy Foster of Castine, OH; Sisters: Marilyn Fornshil of Greenville, OH and Donna Lee Taylor of Delaware, OH; 4 Grandchildren: Michelle J. Owen, Christopher Foster, Daniel Foster and Joseph Foster; one Great Grandchild, numerous step children; step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Friday, August 9, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with the funeral service 1:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home – 411 North Commerce Street – Lewisburg with Rev. David Justis officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH with military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
