Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene, directed by Greenwood Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stokes was born in Falls County and graduated from Baylor University. She was a teacher most of her adult life, and lived in Winters, Lubbock, Marlin, Abilene and Stamford. She moved to Marlin from Stamford in 1967 and to Fort Worth in 1985. She was a member of Wedgewood Baptist Church. She married Robert Lee Stokes in 1933 in Winters; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Arlyne Stokes Ragan of Odessa and Sue Barber of Fort Worth; four stepdaughters, Erna Marks of Weatherford, Nola Goodyear of Lake Jackson, Fannie Lou Carter of Amarillo and Lillian Eidson of Albuquerque, N.M.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Wedgewood Baptist Church Building Fund.
