Steven E. Wolff, age 45, of Janesville, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999 as a result of injuries sustained in a snowmobiling accident on Lake Elysian. Steve enjoyed outdoor activities of all kinds, especially boating, camping and snowmobiling with his family. Steve was widely known for his exceptional ability to fix anything. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 14, 1999 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Janesville with the Rev. Syl Brown officiating. Interment was in St. Jarlath Cemetery, Iosco Township, Waseca County. Steven Edward Wolff, the son of Robert and Mary Lou (Gieseke) Wolff, was born February 5, 1954 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from Waseca Senior High school. Steve was a long time resident of the Janesville/Waseca area, and currently was working as a service technician for RDO Equipment Co. in North Mankato, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1979. Casketbearers were Steve Melcher, Roger Barbknecht, Pat Utz, Michell Wolff, Fritz Gordon, Greg Sack and Steve Condon. Lake Region Times, March 17,1999
