Ira White came back from the Civil War in 1865 with two to three sacks full of gold coins. After that, he never worked because he didn't have to.

Ira A. and Charllota (Lottie) F. White were my great-great grandparents.

Their daughter Frances Elizabeth "Sissie" White Gatlin was my great-grandmother.
