Sarah was the daughter of Emmanuel and Mary Kirby Buck, born on April 1, 1669, in Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut. She married Samuel Deming on March 29, 1694 in Wethersfield. She was much younger than Samuel and was 25 when she was married. Sarah and Samuel had at least five children born in Wethersfield. After the death of Samuel in 1709, she married second, Lt. Benjamin Churchill, in Wethersfield on March 6, 1716. Sarah died on September 3, 1754, in Wethersfield, and is probably buried in the Wethersfield Village Cemetery.
