Madaline M. Denny, 74, of 22 East McNutt Street, Houston, died Saturday, December 20, 1969 at home. She was born September 13, 1895 in Mt. Pleasant township, a daughter of Robert H. and Clara Caldwell Davidson. Mrs. Denny was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Houston. Her husband, Walter M. Denny, died in 1959. Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Evely Downing, of Washington, and Mrs. Gladys Melone of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Briggs, of Washington and Mrs. Grace Kracer, of Canonsburg and seven grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday December 23 at the Speakman Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Green in charge. Burial will be in West Middletown Cemetery. - Washington Observer, December 22, 1969.
