Adelaide Alberthal, 75, Former Business Woman
Adelaide B. Alberthal, a former building business partner, died of cancer Thursday at her home in Lewiston. She was 75.
She was born Oct. 18, 1917, at Minot, N.D., to Henry M. and Alice Gallagher Seipp.
She lived in North Dakota until she was 17, when she came West with her family.
She met Ralph Alberthal at Spokane, and the couple were married Sept. 7, 1943 at Seattle.
The couple made their home at Seattle for several years before moving to Ocean Shores, Wash., in 1968. She worked with her husband in their building business.
In 1978 they moved to Lewiston, where they had lived since.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and enjoyed cooking and spending time with people.
Survivors include her husband at the family home in Lewiston; a daughter, Nancy Swearingen of Ocean Shores; nine brothers; eight sisters; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lewiston, with the Rev. John Williams of Congregational-Presbyterian Church of Lewiston officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
