Mr. Don Alexander Dixon, age 87, of Summerville, GA died Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Hutcheson Medical Center.
Mr. Dixon was born May 31, 1926 in Greenville, TN, the son of the late Robert Alexander Dixon and Fonda Cox Dixon. He was a member of Dry Valley Baptist Church. Mr. Dixon was retired from Sharpe Appliance Store where he was employed as service manager for 30 years.
Survivors include his children, Ronnie Dixon, LaFayette, GA, Donna Jo Jones, Mosshiem, TN, and Debra Harris, Jackson, GA; sister, Nancy Edwards, Greenville, TN; brothers, Jack Cox, Highpoint, NC, Bill Dixon and Jim Dixon, Greenville, TN; 6 Grandchildren; and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Private graveside and interment services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Greenhills Memory Gardens with Rev. Tom Russell officiating.
