Daniel Mac Dearman (Dano), 19, was born April 26, 1982. He left this world to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 20, 2002 after being in an automobile accident early that afternoon. Dano was a volunteer fireman at Ward I fire district. He was currently attending Tallulah Vocational Technical School where he was learning the trade of Welding. Dano really liked welding. Like a true country boy, Dano loved to get the big buck, but not as much as he loved to fish. He probably fished every mudhole in Richland Parish. When he wasn't fishing, he was playing his guitar. Dano had enough sheet music to fill a library. Daniel accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where his father was his pastor. He was a loving son, brother and friend. Dano never met a stranger. It didn't matter to him what your status in life was, Dano loved you anyway.

Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gillon Gilbert.

He is survived by his parents, Bro. Mac and Sharon Dearman of Holly Ridge; his sister, Erin Lea Dearman of Holly Ridge; maternal grandmother, Bertha Gilbert of Delhi, paternal grandparents, Clyde and Beth Dearman of Delhi, aunts and uncles, Joe and Becky Dearman Zarro of Rayville, Terri Dearman Meyer of West Monroe, Larry and Mary Beth Arbour of West Monroe, Bro. Clyde and Renee' Dearman of Monroe, Bro. Jay and Angel Dearman of Belle Rose, Jason and Jenny Blake of Delhi, and Mark and Naomi Woodman of Houston, TX and numerous cousins, friends and loved ones.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 22, 2002 at First Baptist Church of Delhi with Bro. Clyde Dearman, Jr. and Bro. Jay Dearman officiating. Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery in Delhi.

Pallbearers will be Seth Nobles, Bud Rogers, Jeffrey Garsee, Tracey Engerth, Lance Stokes, Jake Zarro, Taylor Arbor, Jeremy Monroe, Britt Eubanks, and Brandon Sarha.

Visitation will be Friday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
