HITCHCOCK - Deborah Denise McDaniel, 49, departed this life on Sunday, August 27, 2006, at Cornerstone Hospital of Houston in Webster, Texas.

Deborah was born on October 12, 1956, in Galveston, Texas. She attended public school in Galveston before her family moved to Hitchcock and was graduate of Hitchcock High School in the class of 1976. She was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church where she served on the Usher board and song with the Senior/Celestial Choir. Deborah was presently employed at the Hitchcock Junior High School AEP program.

She leaves to cherish memories two sons, Damien and Dante McDaniel; grandchildren, Damien McDaniel, Jr. and Raleigh Swan McDaniel; her parents Matthew and Doris McDaniel; sisters, Shirley McDaniel and Sharon Thibodeaux (Michael); brothers, Dennis McDaniel (Rose) and Matthew McDaniel, Jr. (Gloria); a very special friend R. J. Harris and family; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Viewing will begin at 5PM on Friday, September 1st, followed by a Pre-celebration service from 7-9PM at the Galilee Baptist Church in Hitchcock. A celebration of Deborah's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 2, 2006, also at the Galilee church with Pastor S. D. Siverand officiating and Rev. B. J. Hunter, eulogist. She will be laid to rest in Grace Memorial park in Hitchcock.
