John L. Lynn, who states DOB as June 5, 1825, has a CSA pension application on line under Tattnall County in the GA Archives. He says he enlisted in 1862 in Savannah, GA and served with Company G of the 47th GA Regiment. At the surrender, he was in the hospital where he had been for 8 days , in Greensboro, N. C.
