Mrs. Moran was a member of Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, where she served on the WAC board, taught Sunday school, and sang in the choir.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Moran; children Cindy Miller and husband William and Albert Moran and wife Jaime; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving son, Joseph J. Moran III.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4 at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church. A private burial will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, Heritage Youth Fund, 12500 Chewning Lane Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
