Virginia L. Banther, 77, of Harrison, died Monday morning, May 19, 2008, in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she had attended Maple Grove Baptist Church, was retired from the Chattanooga Group with 45 years of service and was a member of the OES Chapter 56.
Survivors include her husband, three sons, eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; sister, brother.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Dotson and the Rev. Jay Neal officiating.
Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
