Gertrude H. Van Horn, 86, died Monday in Sonoma.
A native of Boulder Colo., she was a member of the Alter Society of the Star of The Sea Catholic Church.
She is survived by a nephew, Ernest Borber of Sonoma; by a grandniece, grandnephew, a great-grandniece and a great-grandnephew.
She worked for the Plaza Book Store when she was 70 years of age and moved from Santa Cruz to be near her only nephew. She died in a convelescent hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebreted at Star Of The Sea Church commencing at 9 a.m. Thursday. The Rosary will be recited at the church Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are by White's chapel.
