Velma Mae Wallace was the daughter of Myrtle M. (Schaffer) and Roy Urias Wallace -- and the sister of Dalton Urias Wallace. She graduated from Ohio University and became a school teacher in Bellaire Schools, where she was well loved by some of her cousin-pupils. She died at home on Pipe Creek Road, after berry-picking.
