Jason F. Gallagher, 23, of New Bedford died Tuesday March 21, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital after a courageous five year battle with a brain tumor. He was the son of Normenia M. (Correia) Pinto of New Bedford and the late Ronald F. Pinto.
A lifelong resident of New Bedford, he attended Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He was a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Barbering.

Survivors include his mother; his father, Bernard F. Gallagher, Jr. of New Bedford; three sisters, Stacey A. Bock and her husband James of Wareham, Tenley J. Newman and her husband Michael of Michigan, and Jane E. Charron and her husband Jamie of Falmouth, Maine; his grandparents, Emilia Correia and Bernard and Doris Gallagher, all of New Bedford, and Eunice Pinto of Dartmouth; a niece, Emily Kathryn Bock; a nephew, Camden Ronald Charron; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.

He was the grandson of the late Saul Correia.

Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Saturday March 25, 2006 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Friday March 24, 2006 from 4-9 PM. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
