Several persons from this area attended the funeral services of Mr. Norman Alonzo Chatfield, held on Thursday at the home of his father near Adams. Norman Chatfield was born in 1850 to Silas and Mary (Holcomb) Chatfield in Adams, town of Troy, Walworth County, Wisconsin. He was married to Lillian Allen in 1874. Norman Chatfield has resided in Chicago for several years. Nearly a year ago health failed and he went south hoping to regain it, but on the contrary his health grew worse and a few days ago he came to his father’s, Mr. Silas Chatfield where he died June 20, 1894. Norman was buried in the Adams Cemetery beside his mother, Mary Holcomb Chatfield.
