Mrs. Margie Mae Hamilton, 89, of Jane, Missouri departed this life on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri after a recent decline in health.

Margie entered this life on September 30, 1923 in Eakley, Oklahoma to the late John F. and Delia Amelia Ross. On June 27, 1948 in Glendale, Arizona she was united in marriage to Maynard O. Hamilton and together they shared sixty-two years before his passing on May 16, 2011. They resided in Gentry, Arkansas before moving to Jane, Missouri in 1976. Throughout her life she was a hardworking and devoted homemaker to her husband and family. She enjoyed quilting, raising goats, gardening and cherished each moment spent with her family. Margie was a member of the Bella Vista Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Maynard Hamilton; and two brothers, Alfred and Marshal Ross.

Margie is survived by her two sons, Troy Hamilton and wife, Betty, of Jane, Missouri and Clarence Hamilton and wife, Juna, also of Jane; four grandchildren, Troy Hamilton, Jr., Megan Hancock and husband, Asa, Margie Hamilton and Jared Hamilton; four great-grandchildren, Kiley Hamilton, William Zellers, Annabelle Zellers, Allison Parker; a twin brother, Marvie Ross of Gentry, Arkansas; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hamilton are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastors Randall Caselman and Charles Cash officiating. Burial will follow in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery in Berryville, Arkansas. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
