She was survived by her husband, James William Beam of Baton Rouge; her son, James Sherman Beam of Jackson, MS; daughter, Laura Beam Bankston and her husband, Carson Bankston of Baton Rouge, LA; a brother, Dennis Parker and his wife, Linda Parker of Monroe.
