Joseph Dean Toole, 72, of Tippecanoe, Ohio, died Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Canton.
He was born February 18, 1941, a son of the late Howard and Mary Hamilton Toole.
Dean was a retired Truck Driver, known by his CB handle, "Diesel Smoke". He was also a member of the House of the Shepherd in New Athens. Dean never knew a stranger. He was always there to lend a hand.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Toole.
Surviving are his wife, Myrtle Tipton Toole; a son Albert Lee Toole of Uhrichsville; a daughter, Teresa (Ron) Scott of Monroeville, PA; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a brother, Glen (Joan) Toole of Flushing.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenmont Cemetery, Freeport.
