HANNIBAL - Connie S. Greathouse Welch, 57, of Hannibal, died at 5:59 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Smith Funeral Chapel in Hannibal. The Rev. Paul Bond will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Welch was born June 20, 1944, in Lancaster, Calif., to Jack E. and Rosella Jefferies Greathouse.
Survivors include three daughters, Joan Carter Shepherd and Sherri D. Welch, both of Hannibal, and Becky Carter Tullock of Bowling Green; one son, Timothy Carter of Hannibal; her father of Hannibal; one brother, Jack K. Greathouse of Hannibal; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
The family wishes to include as survivors, one daughter-in-law, Christi Carter; a son-in-law, Lee Tullock; a son-in-law, Lee Tullock; one sister-in-law, Lisa Greathouse; several nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew; and that she was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Larry Shepherd Sr.
She was also preceded in death by her mother; and one brother, James W. (Jim) Greathouse.
Mrs. Welch was a member of First United Methodist Church and a graduate of Hannibal High School.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Pallbearers will be Larry Shepherd Jr., Mike Murphy, Jason Greathouse, Adam Carter, Jerry Verrant and Taj Vance.
