Born in Miami, Florida, July 30, 1972 but longtime resident of Ocala, Florida, he graduated from Forest High School in 1990. He is survived by his devoted wife of 14 years Heather Cannon-Hess; daughter, Abbie Kelly Hess; father, Jeff Hess Sr.; mother, Joyce Hess, Breesport, NY; brother, Jeffrey (Stacey) Hess Jr.; nephews, Justin and Colin Hess; best friend, CWO 2 Robert "Bobby" Price and family of Jacksonville; grandmother, Claudia Good; mother-in-Law, Marlene Larsen and spouse "Bob Henry"; father-in-Law, Dennis Cannon, along with many other cousins, family and friends.
Steve touched the lives of many people with his infectious smile and will be missed by all. Family and Friends are invited to attend a memorial service in his honor August 9, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church located at 1600 SE 58th Ave. Ocala, FL. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with family visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home.
