Sarah Rose Connor, 67, of Onego, W.Va., near Seneca Rocks, W.Va., died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., with her family by her side. Born May 2, 1946, in Onego, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Zernie Teter. She was a 1963 graduate of Circleville High School. She moved to Manchester and was employed by Baltimore Gas and Electric until she retired in 2001. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 467 in Westminster. She resided in Lower Timber Ridge, Onego, W.Va., starting in 2009 and was an active member of the North Fork Baptist Church. Surviving are a brother, Clinton "Sonny" Teter and wife JoAnn, of Bridgewater, Va.; one niece; five nephews; a number of great nieces and nephews; and several aunts and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, William Junior Teter, and her sister, Alice Teter Baldwin. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service, 2 p.m. Tuesday at the North Fork Baptist Church, 20430 Mountaineer Drive, Riverton, W.Va., 26814, with Pastor Roger Gorby officiating. Interment will follow in the North Fork Memorial Cemetery in Riverton, W.Va.
