Funeral services for Mrs. Maxine Collins Walters, age 76, will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Parkburg Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Barker and Pastor Danny Rachel officiating. Burial will follow in Parkburg Cemetery with Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Walters died August 2, 2013 at her home. She was born in Madison County, TN, daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Lee Marsh Collins. Mrs. Walters was retired from First Tennessee Bank and as an interior designer for Interiors Unlimited. She was for several years an official with the Madison County Election Commission. Mrs. Walters was a member of Bemis United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Alenia Diggs Keeling. She leaves her husband, Billy Moore Walters of Jackson, TN; two daughters, four grandchildren, and four sisters.

Pallbearers to serve are Barry Michael, Jeff Michael, Gary Murchison, Malcolm Mosier, Roy Chandler and Slater McKlean. Honorary Pallbearers are Ricky Murchison, Randy Oliver and James Buchanan.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time 2 p.m., Tuesday at the church.
