Son of Rev. Edmund Sheppard Jones Jr.
(Nov. 15, 1878-Jan. 3, 1968) and Bessie
Knowles (Feb. 6, 1883-Mar. 28, 1971).
He was educated in Minneapolis and in
NY and became a Presbyterian minister.
Rev. Dr. Jones ministered in several
churches: Baldwin, NY, Charleston, WV,
New Kensington and Brookville in PA,
and Daretown, NJ. After retirement
he did supply work on Long Island, NY.

He married Dorothy Post Hubert
(born Oct. 24, 1918 in Brooklyn,
Kings County, NY) on Aug. 2, 1941.
They had three sons, Curtis, David and
Richard.
