Judge William T. Carrington was a son of Randolph Carrington and Katherine McGary. He was my 2nd great granduncle.

On 12 Mar 1840 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Susan Clark Fisher. They had 6 children:
Julia Ann, Nannie, Elizabeth J., Mary, William T., and Emma Fisher Carrington.

William Carrington was commissioned Captain of Co. 1 of 24th Battalion Reg., 12th Div. of the National Guard. He held this position for many years.

In l851 he was a liberal contributor to the founding of Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. Following the Civil War, Mr. Carrington was made County Judge

After the family home was destroyed by fire in 1889, Judge Carrington spent his last few years in Fulton with his two maiden daughters. He died on Thanksgiving Day 1891
