Maribeth Munn was murdered during an armed robbery of the Tucson Fire Fighters Union Hall. Bartender Carol Noel and Judy Bell and husband Arthur "Taco" Bell were also murdered during the robbery.

The State of Arizona executed one offender on October 23, 2013. The second offender was on Arizona's Death Row awaiting execution as of January 20, 2019.
