Was born near Osceola, Mo., Oct. 13, 1882 and departed this life Mar. 16, 1944, at the age of 61 years, 5 months, and 3 days. Parker was the only son of Martha Ellen (Littlepage) and Napoleon Bonaparte Greenwell. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved companion Vernie (Love) Greenwell, and five sisters, Alpha Bascue of Los Angeles, California, Eunice Nelson, Crowley, Colo., Pearl Walker, Bucklin, Kans., Audra Woolery, Fullerton, Calif. & Edna Greenwell of San Francisco, Calif. His father, mother and one sister, Molly Snyder, preceded him in death. He also leaves a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and a host of friends. He was visiting in the home of Audra Woolery and was taken suddenly ill. A doctor was called and he was removed to a local hospital where he passed away. Funeral services were held from McCauley & Sutters Mortuary Chapel March 21, Rev. Frank Kepner of Pomona in charge. Internment in the beautiful Loma Vista Memorial Park near Fullerton. Parker professed faith in Christ and was united with the Baptist church at Osceola, Mo., transferred his membership to Pomona and later to San Luis Obispo, where he and his wife were residing. The many beautiful floral offerings were a token of the high esteem in which he was held by his family and friends...

Relatives attending his funeral services were his wife, Vernie L. Greenwell of San Luis Obispo; Alpha Bascue. Mary (Love) Gee and Byron Nelson of Los Angeles, Aubrey Bascue, wife and baby of Long Beach; Fae and Ralph wright, Placentia; Ruth King, San Luis Obispo, Martha Rains of Blythe, Dee Nelson and family, Audra Woolery and daughters, Maxine and Mary of Fullerton.
