DALEVILLE - Robert E. See, 76, Daleville, died Jan 13, 1998, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born March 12, 1921, in Paris, Ky., and lived in the Daleville area most of his life. He retired from Container Corporation after 31 years of employment.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Helen G. (Browning) See; five children, daughter Carolyn See and companion Scott Zachary of Anderson, daughter Sandra See of Chesterfield, son John See of Anderson, son Dale (wife, Karen) See of Muncie, and daughter Susan See of Tifton, GA; a brother, John Jeffrey Lemons of Pottstown, Pa., a sister, Sarah Cooper of Lexington, Ky.; nine grandchildren; a great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Danny See; sister, Dorothy Arnold; and parents, Preston and Minnie Irene (Himes) See.
Services will be 1 pm Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Downs officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at 4 to 8 pm today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Hospice.
