Mrs. Flora Kimbley
Mrs. Flora K Kimbley, 60 years old, 2102 Empire avenue, died at 3:15 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Oak Hill hospital, where she had been a patient since April 9.
Born February 23, 1908, in Oklahoma, Mrs. Kimbley had lived in the Joplin area most of her life. She was a member of the Empire Baptist church. Her husband, Frank, died in October 1960.
Mrs. Kimbley is survived by a son, Orville Kimbley, 2423 Picher avenue; three brothers, Sam Byrd and Francis Byrd, both of Jay, Okla., and Stanley Byrd, San Jose, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Dust, Winfield, Kan., and Mrs. Dollie Daniels, Jay, Okla.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Thornhill-Dillon mortuary chapel. The Rev. A. E. Davidson will officiate. Burial will be in the Fairview cemetery.
