She was predeceased by her parents, Eric Wagner Phizackerley. Ann Gertrude (nee Weble), brother Corporal Vernon Phizackerley of the Scottish Cameron Highlanders, killed in action, age 22, under the command of General Bernard Law Montgomery of El Alamein (1941). Husband Malcom, and daughter Ann (1969).

She is survived by an only sister Olga Phizackerley, Bromborough, Cheshire U.K and two sons, Peter and Edwin, his wife Xuleian(Emma), and granddaughter Nadia Williamson.

Thelma had a kind and generous nature, she loved people, books and her pets, especially her beloved Siamese cat Virgil. She was always ready to help anyone when she was able, and will be sadly missed by those who knew her.

A memorial tea was held at the Hotel Saskatchewan on April 7, 2013 for friends and family, Burial arrangements Regina Memorial Gardens, Funeral and Crematorium Services
