OSBORNE, Lois Marie – went to be with her Lord on Tuesday afternoon, July 21st, 1998. She was born in Gering, Nebraska on May 12, 1920 to Roy and Grace Ware. She contracted Polio when she was five years old and was left with severe disability all her life. The last 35 or more years she has been confined to a wheel chair. Lois married Earl Osborn on October 21, 1939. Early in their married life they adopted three boys. She was a bookkeeper for their own business. In 1950, they moved to San Jose, California where she was also a bookkeeper and retired from that job in July 1978. While in San Jose they adopted two more boys. She has always been gifted in all kinds of crafts and has made them for gifts to friends and family. She has been active in church and has been a member of Tri City Baptist Church since moving in 1979 from San Jose. Lois is survived by her husband of 58 ½ years; four sons, Gene and wife, Marge of Texas, DeWayne and wife, Yvette, of Gaston Oregon, Vern and wife, Nancy, of Vist California and Jeff and wife, Danna, of San Jose, California; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael and two grandsons, Keith and Kevin Osborn. Memorial services will be held at Tri City Baptist Church and officiated by Pastor John Gustafson on Saturday, July 25th at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. MT. VIEW FUNERAL HOME will be in charge of the service. Donations can be made to Tri City Baptist Church in her memory.
