Daniel Webster Price was a well-known retired farmer and a life-long resident of Montgomery county. He died at his home in Damascus at 6 o'clock in the morning on Sunday, February 17, 1935, after an illness of four years of paralysis, aged 72 years. The funeral took place at the Beall funeral home Tuesday, February 20, 1935, in the afternoon with services at Montgomery Chapel M. P. church, Clagettsville, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Fred Barnes, Clarksburg, assisted by Revs. Gilbert F. Turner, Kemptown, and Raymond Hunter Brown, Damascus. Interment in the church cemetery.
