Lillian Evalene Sandy, Tinney, Price was her name, daughter of Charles W. Sandy and Amy Belle Carter.

She married twice in her lifetime, 1st to Robert L. Tinney on 24 December 1939 in Harrison County, West Virginia. 2nd she married Donald Thomas Price Sr. on 26 October 1957 in Harrison County, West Virginia.


Lillian E. Price, 100, of Keyser, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at the Dawn View Center, Fort Ashby.
Born on Sept. 14, 1916, at Sardis, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Amy Belle (Carter) Sandy. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Thomas Price Sr., in 1992; a stepdaughter, Charlene; a stepson, Donald T. Price Jr.; three brothers, Carter, Willard and Kenneth Sandy; and a sister, Irene Sandy.
Mrs. Price was a homemaker and was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church. She also was a member of the Mineral County Senior Citizens.
Surviving are her children, Rebecca K. Wilkinson of Menifee, Calif., Thomas K. Tinney and wife, Janet, of Cresaptown, Brad Price of Clarksburg, and Beth A. Gabbert and husband, Charles, of Keyser; a stepson, Robert Price and wife, Barbara, of White Sands, N.M.; five grandchildren, Shannon Wilkinson, Christopher Tinney, Jason Hickey and wife, Elizabeth, Joshua Hickey and wife, Erin Ballard, and Amy Gabbert; three great-grandchildren, Giovanni and Delavigne Tinney and Olivia Hickey; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, from 2 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Sardis Baptist Church on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Gary Layfield officiating.
Interment will be in the Sardis Cemetery.
