Francis Blaylock

Francis died at Lowsourbies in Bowcastle, aged 94 years.

The gravestone inscription refers to Bowcastle-this is either a stonemason's error or an error in the transcription by those who carried out the MI [Monumental Inscription] survey, because it should read Bewcastle, a large civil parish in the City of Carlisle district of Cumbria, England. To the north the parish extends to the border with Scotland.
