Mrs. Hughes, 47, died Feb. 20, 2008, at Thomason General Hospital in El Paso, Texas. She was born Oct. 27, 1960, in McAllen, Texas. She married Henry Hughes on April 12, 2002, in Hobbs, N.M.
Shawn was a very active and busy person. She had worked as a bus driver, a program director for the Boys and Girls Club for two years and a service writer for Lowe's RV. She was a volunteer for the Boy Scouts. Shawn was a great mom and had a great love for children. She may be gone, but never forgotten. Please keep all of Shawn's family in your prayers.
Survivors include her loving husband, Henry Allen of the home; four sons, Alvin Wesley Taylor III of Hobbs, N.M., Marcus Taylor of Hobbs, N.M., Adam Blake Taylor of Lovington,N.M., and Kevin DeWayne Taylor of Lovington, N.M.
Shawn was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Rebecca Brown, and her father-in-law, Alvin Wesley Taylor Sr.
