Mrs. Rebecca Echard dies suddently from stroke of Apoplexy
Mrs. Rebecca Echard, 76 years old, widow of Reuben Echard, died suddenly Sunday night at 8:45 o'clock at White, Saltlick township, following a stroke. She had previously suffered several light strokes.
Mrs. Echard was a lifelong resident of the township. She was a daughter of the late Daniel and Maria Snyder. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Elma Flack, wife of Homer Flack, with whom she made her home; two brothers, Simon Snyder of White and William Snyder of Scottdale, and a sister, Miss Kate Snyder of White. She was a member of the Church of God.
The funeral service will be held at the Church of God at White Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in Snyder Cemetery.
