Charles Thurman
COLLINS - Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today in Mount Zion Methodist Cemetery for Charles Thurman, 73, of Collins, who died June 27, 2006, at Forrest General Hospital.
Mr. Thurman was retired as a supervisor at Masonite and as a manager of Pace Oil Co. He was a member of Lone Star United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Burnice Thurman.
Survivors include his wife, Wyvonne Thurman of Collins; two daughters, Joanie Thompson of Nashville, Tenn., and Le Ann Powell of Seminary; three sons, Charlie Thurman of Columbia, Terry Thurman of Hattiesburg and Todd Thurman of Citronelle, Ala.; two stepsons, Darryl Dyess of Hazlehurst and Dan Calvin Dyess of Carson; a stepdaughter, Wanda Hamilton of Prentiss; a sister, Darlene Terrell of Collins; 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss is in charge of arrangements.
