Robert E. "Bear" Bernardi Sr., 69, of Jefferson Hills, died Thursday Aug. 1, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born July 15, 1944, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Venanzi and Marie Mennillo Bernardi. Robert was a former vicing foreman at U.S. Steel-Clairton Works. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Bernardi. His survivors include his wife Barbara L. Mattern Bernardi, his children, Theresa and Cheryl Bernardi, both of Greenville, S.C., Michelle Bernardi, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Robert E. (Jacki) Bernardi Jr., of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Amber, Alexis, Danielle, Kylie, Frankie and Gabbi; and loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME INC., 432 North Sixth St., Clairton, PA 15025, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2013. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park Inc., Pleasant Hills
