Resided in Spooner his entire life. Veteran of WW I and later served four years with the Wisconsin National Guards. Member of Dodge-Gilbertson-Carlson VFW Post # 1028 of Spooner. Married Pearl A. Barton on July 3, 1954 at Spooner.
Survivors include wife; two sons, Tony & Ralph Jr., both of Spooner; two daughters, Cindy Andrea, Spooner; Annette Brown, Red Wing, Mn.; one grndaughter, Rachel; one brother, Frank; three sisters, Angeline (Oliver) Poirier and JoAnne Lewis, all of Spooner and Rose Eggert, St. Paul, Mn. Also many neices and nephews.
Funeral, 8 Jan, 2 p.m., Scalzo Home, Spooner, Rev. Amos Shimko, officiant.
Spring burial will take place, where military rites will be accorded by the Spooner Veteran's Honor Guards.
Casketbearers were: Frank Borelli, Neil Daniels, Bernard Johnson, Bob and Mike Scalzo, Don Shoquist. Lawrence Chido served in the capacity of an honorary pallbearer.
