Jackie Bruce Adkins, 55, of Lavalette, WV, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born July 4, 1958 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Jack and Mandy Insco Adkins.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a heart of gold and his caring nature influenced many lives. He was a former truck driver.

Survivors include
his loving wife of 36 years, Jeanne Adkins;
a son, Dominic Alexander Adkins, at home;
two daughters and a son-in-law, Trina Owens of Lavalette and Kathy Adkins Roth and her husband Jeff of Huntington;
seven grandchildren who were the light of his life, Richard Bruce Owens, Damian Skaggs, Dalton Gue, Cheyenne Roth, Mandy Roth, Jaide Roth and Joni Roth;
a brother, Melvin Adkins of Huntington;
two sisters, Judy White of Tennessee and Brenda Flemings and Bill of Huntington;
close relatives and friends.

Funeral service at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Keith Watters. Burial in the Insco Cemetery, Wayne, WV.
